Privacy Policy for StitchDiary
StitchDiary is a cross-stitch project tracking and stitching diary application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use StitchDiary.

Data collection
StitchDiary does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer or third parties.
The application does not require account registration and does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud synchronization services.
Local data
Information entered into StitchDiary, including cross-stitch projects, stitching diary entries, notes, progress information, project images, and photos attached to diary entries, is stored locally on the user's device.
The developer does not have access to this data.
Photos and images
StitchDiary allows users to select images from their device for use as project images or progress photos. Selected images are copied to the application's local storage and are used only for functionality requested by the user.
Users may explicitly choose to save copies of images to the device's Downloads/StitchDiary folder or share images using Android's system sharing functionality. StitchDiary does not automatically transmit these images to any external service.
Backup and export
Users may create backup files and spreadsheet exports. These files are generated locally on the device. The user decides where and how they are saved or shared.
Data retention and deletion
Data remains stored locally until the user deletes individual records, clears the application's data, or uninstalls StitchDiary.
Backup files or exported files created by the user may remain in locations selected by the user after the application is uninstalled.
Internet access
StitchDiary does not currently require an Internet connection for its core functionality.
Children's privacy
StitchDiary is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if StitchDiary's functionality or data handling practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
